Koggs Scanner is designed to help you capture, import, and organize documents. The current version does not require an account and does not collect, sell, rent, or share your personal information or the contents of your documents with Tranz Technologies.
Document and image data
Scans, images, and document details are processed on your device for the features you choose to use. Koggs Scanner does not upload document images, extracted text, or document metadata to our servers. You control any sharing or export you initiate from your device; the privacy practices of the service or app you choose to share with apply to that transfer.
Information we collect
We do not collect personal information, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, usage analytics, or crash-reporting data through Koggs Scanner. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs in the App.
Device permissions
Koggs Scanner may request access to your camera so that you can capture a document, and access to photos or files when you choose to import or save a document. These permissions are used only on your device for the action you request. You can manage or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.
Data sharing and sale
Because we do not collect document or personal data through the App, we do not sell, rent, disclose, or share that data with third parties. We do not use your information for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data retention and security
Your scans and related content remain under your control on your device unless you export or share them. We do not retain copies of this content on our servers. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any destinations you select when exporting or sharing documents.
Children’s privacy
Koggs Scanner is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App does not collect personal information, there is no user data for us to access, correct, or delete.
Third-party services
The App does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Your download of the App through an app store is subject to that store’s own privacy policy and terms; we do not control information processed by the store.
